To be for one day entirely at leisure is to be for one day an immortal.
Chinese Proverb
... leisure is the foundation of culture beyond the utilitarian world
Man and Leisure, Brightbill
Leisure is the best of all possessions.
socrates
The word recreate is from the Latin recreare, meaning "to create anew, or to refresh after toil.
Man and Leisure by Brightbill
Sweet recreation barred, what doth ensue But moody and dull melancholy, Kinsmen to grim and comfortless despair; And at her heels a huge infectious troop Of pale distemperatures, and foes to life? - Z7z.e Comedy of Errors, Act W, Sc. I., William Shakespeare,
In the world of current affairs, leisure is virtually a Mount Everest to be scale.
Man and Leisure by Brightbill
Leisure, according to the ancients, is the proper state of man. Work is what is necessary for survival and a necessary condition for leisure. It is not an end in itself. Leisure is. It is the end, the goal, of human life
The Philosophy of Leisure, Tom Winnifrith and Cyril Barrett
Not being divided up by time, leisure does not suffer the fragmentation that free time does.
Of Ti, Work, andLeissue, S. de Grazia, 1%2
Time has its stop in leisure. In free time it becomes an obsession.. .For leisure the idea (of time) simply does not apply.
Of Tim, Work, andLeisure, S. de Grazia, 1962
To look upon leisure only as a respite from work is never to discover its full potential. It is more often leisure than work, which liberates the soul of man.
Man and Leisure, Brightbill
. . .It is not by any means certain that a man's business is the most important thing he has to do.
An Apobgy for Idlers, &says of TraveLr, Robert L. Stevenson
7 We are unleisurely in order to have leisure.
Aristotle
Leisure with dignity is the supremely desirable object of all sane and good men.
Cicem
Leisure is the mother of philosophy.
Hobbes
The man in contemplation is a free man, he needs nothing. Therefore nothing determines or distorts his thought. He does whatever he loves to do and what he does is done for it's own sake.
In of Ti, Work and Leisure, deGrazia
Reality - Dreams = Animal being Reality + Dreams = A heart Ache (usually called Idealism) Reality + Humor + Realism (also called Conservatism) Dreams + Humor + Fanaticism Reality + Dreams + Humor = Wisdom
The Importance of Living, Lin Yutang
Extreme busyness whether at school or college, work or market, is a symptom of deficient vitali ty.... As if a man's soul were not to small to begin with ... Some people have dwarfed and narrowed theirs by a life of all work and no play.
Robert Louis Stevenson
Only those who take leisurely what the people of the world are busy about can be busy about what the people of the world take leisurely.
Chang Ch'ao
.- Play an instrument Pay a game Play with each other Play a prank on someone
Unknown
Ideaily all work for adults should be like a boy making a kite
Herman Home
Play gives real value to words such as tenacity, courage, fairness, courtesy, cheerfulness, cleverness and brute force long before the meanings of these qualities are learned.
Ward Crampton
All encyclopedic definitions of leisure point out that the Greek word for it is schole, which leads to the English School, scholarship. The significance of this is that it indicates that leisure, traditionally, has incorporated education, scholarship and philosophy.
JSando
Work is something a body is obliged to do; play something a body is not obliged to do.
Mark Twain
To be for one day entirely at leisure is to be for one day an immortal.
Chinese Proverb
Who would not rise to meet the expectations of this land. - Henry David Thoreau
POWDER COATING SANDBLASTING METAL REFINISHING

HIGH PERFORMANCE EXTERI0.R COATINGS
..
.A
The R.W. Little Sandblasting and’ Coatings Go. applies several variations of HIGH
PERFORMANCE COATINGS. These coatings are used for aggressive marine environments
and applications where long service life Is deslrable. All of these coatings are applied over
a SANDBLASTED surface. . ..
SANDBLASTING provides the Ideal surface for HIGH .PERFORMANCE COATINGS.
SANDBLASTING removes old paint, corrosion, mil-scale and other.contaminants that may.
adversely,’affe.ct adheslon of the new coatings. Equally Important, the:;process provides a”
surface etch for the llquld coating to flii and mechanically attach itself to.
1.”3RGANIC ZINC PRIMER followed by an intermediate coat of EPOXYwnd top coating L. POLYURETHANE is considered the best system available today. These three coatings
work as a “team”. The combinations will protect and enhance the appearance better than
3 applications of any single coating.
INORGANIC ZINC is a sacrificial coating. It “gives itself up” (similar to galvanizing) to
protect the substrate. It prevents corrosive undercutting of the topcoats when a break or
chip occurs in the surface of the paint.
The. EPOXY intermediate coat is used to protect the zinc and provide an adhesive base
for the topcoat. Epoxy Is a superlor general purpose anti-corros,!ve. It cannot provlde a
glossy finish and epoxy will break down under prolonged exposure to the gun. A topc.9at
is required.
The POLYURETHANE top coating is simply the premier glossy long-lived finish for your
metal parts and structures. It protects the epoxy from sunlight and provides a highly
aesthetic appearance. Virtually all commercial aircraft, custom yachts, and “long-haul”
trucks use Polyurethane for the final coat.
._
COST is always an important consideration. We believe that the cost of coating services
I uld be factored over the llfe of the coating. We can demonstrate that service life costs
are lower when SANDBLASTING and HIGH PERFORMANCE COATiNGS are used to finish
your metal parts.
