SUMMARY REPORT OF JUNE, 2003 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. AB #603-1 RECEIPT OF DONATION - The Commission received a donation of $1,795 in
products and services from the Kruger House Benefit Committee to benefit pre-school
activities.
2. AB #603-2 SUMMARY REPORT - The Commission approved the Summary Report of the
May Parks and Recreation Commission meeting.
DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS
3. AB #603-3 STATUS UPDATE ON THE CARLSBAD CITY GOLF COURSE PROJECT - The
Commission received the Golf Course Project update, including recent Coastal Commission
action regarding the HMP, from the Municipal Projects Manager.
4. AB #603-4 POINSETTIA PARK SYNTHETIC TURF FIELD UPDATE - The Deputy Public
Works Director/General Services updated the Commission on the progress of the synthetic turf
installation project.
5. AB #603-5 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION WORKSHOP - The Commission
discussed dates for, and agenda items to be addressed as part of an upcoming workshop for
the Commission and staff.
6. AB #603-6 COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS - The Commission deferred final selection of
appointments to standing committees of the Parks and Recreation Commission until the July
meeting.
