RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive donation and recommend acceptance by the City Manager.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On November 20, 2003, the City received a donation of $250 from the Carlsbad Village Optimist
Club. These funds will help offset costs associated with shirts provided to all participants and
coaches during City of Carlsbad Winter Baseball Camp.
The Recreation Department wishes to gratefully acknowledge the generosity of the Carlsbad
Village Optimist Club.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The $250 received from Carlsbad Village Optimist Club has been deposited into the Recreation
Trust Fund (acct.# 149-4503-5651) for utilization in support of youth sports.
