RESCHEDULE JANUARY COMMISSION MEETING
ACTION
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Reschedule the January 17,2005 Commission Meeting to another date in January.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The regularly scheduled January 17, 2005 Parks and Recreation Commission meeting falls on the
Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday and all City of Carlsbad offices are closed. During the month of
February, the regularly scheduled Commission meeting also falls on a city observed holiday when
all offices are also closed. Consequently, staff is requesting to reschedule the January meeting
primarily to hear the Tree Appeal for 3520 Avondale Circle.
In order to facilitate the appeal process, the January Commission meeting will need to be re-
scheduled. Staff would suggest and recommend that Commissioners bring their personal
calendars to the meeting so that alternate dates for rescheduling can be discussed and
confirmed.
