ITEM EXPLANATION: The Recreation Department Youth Sports Division has received cash donations in the total amount of $2600 from five businesses/organizations. Imperial Capital Bank has donated $1 000; Toyota/Lexus Carlsbad has donated $500; Carlsbad Village Optimist Club has donated $500; That Pizza Place has donated $300; Ken Grody Ford has donated $300. These funds will be used to help in the purchasing of awards and uniforms for all participants in the Youth Basketball program. The Recreation Department wishes to gratefully acknowledge the above businesses/organizations for their generosity and support of the Carlsbad Youth Basketball Program. Letters of thanks are attached FISCAL IMPACT: The $2600 received from the Imperial Capital Bank, Toyota/Lexus Carlsbad, Carlsbad Village Optimist Club, That Pizza Place,. and Ken- Grody Ford has been deposited into the Recreation Trust Account (149-4503-5651) for utilization in the purchase of awards for all youth basketball participants.
