Receive donation and recommend acceptance by City Council.

ITEM EXPLANATION:
On January 6, 2005 the Recreation Department received a cash donation of $500 from the
OceansideElks Lodge. These funds will be used to promote and support the Recreation
Department's Sportsmans hip/T. R. U .S .T. Program. The Recreation Department wishes to
gratefully acknowledge the Oceanside Elks Lodge for their generosity and cash donation. A letter
expressing our thanks is attached.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The $500 received from the Oceanside Elks Lodge has been deposited into the Recreation
TRUST Account (149-4503-5651) for utilization in the promotion of the Sportsmanship/T.R.U.S.T
Program.
