SUMMARY REPORT OF THE MARCH 20, 2006 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
MEETING
CONSENT CALENDAR - The following consent items were unanimously approved 6-0
(Craig Absent)
1. AB #306-1 SUMMARY REPORT - (ACTION) - The Commission unanimously accepted
and approved the Summary Report of the October 17, 2005 Parks and Recreation
Commission meeting.
2. AB #306-2 ACCEPTANCE OF TRAIL KIOSK - HOSP GROVE - (ACTION) - The
Commission received a donation of a kiosk for Hosp Grove and recommended acceptance
by City Manager.
DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS
3. AB #306-3 CIP UPDATE - (INFO) - The Commission received an informational update on
the Park Development Projects being proposed for the 2006-2007 Capital Improvement
Program Budget. After comments and questions, the Commission requested that the City
Council consider expanding the skatepark at the Safety Center, and to consider an
additional skatepark in the Northwest Quadrant of the City.
4. AB #306-4 GOLF COURSE PROJECT UPDATE - (INFO) - The Commission received an
informational update on the Golf Course project.
