SUMMARY REPORT OF THE DECEMBER 8, 2006 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
MEETING
CONSENT CALENDAR - The following consent items were unanimously approved 5-0
1. AB #1206-1 SUMMARY REPORT- fACTION) - The Commission accepted and approved the
Summary Report of the November 20, 2006 Parks and Recreation Commission meeting.
2. AB # 1206-2 RECEIPT OF DONATION- (ACTION] - The Commission received a donation of
goods in support of the Pumpkin Plunge special event held at the Swim Complex in October 2006
and recommended acceptance by the City Manager.
DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS
3. AB #1206-3 ELECTION OF COMMISSION OFFICERS - (ACTION) - Bv a unanimous vote.
Commissioners Jim Craig and Sally Lyons were elected as Chairperson and Vice Chairperson
(respectively) of the Parks and Recreation Commission for the 2007 calendar year.
4. AB # 1206-4 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING SCHEDULE- (ACTION) - In
light of the January and February 2007 Commission meetings falling on scheduled City holidays, the
Commission unanimously agreed to hold Parks and Recreation Commission meetings in January
. and February 2007 and provided suggested alternate dates to staff.
