SUMMARY REPORT OF THE AUGUST 20, 2007 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
MEETING
CONSENT CALENDAR - The following consent items were unanimously approved 6-0 (Pacheco
absent):
1. AB # 0807-1 SUMMARY REPORT - fACTION} - The Commission accepted and approved the
Summary Report of the June 16, 2007 Parks and Recreation Commission meeting.
2. AB # 0807-2 RECEIPT OF DONATIONS OF SOCCER GOAL NETTING FOR AVIARA PARK -
(ACTION)-The Commission received a donation of soccer goal netting for Aviara Community Park,
and recommended acceptance by the City Manager.
3. AB # 0807-3 RECEIPT OF GENERAL DONATIONS FROM TO THE LEO CARRILLO RANCH
TRUST FUND- {ACTION) - The Commission received donations to the Carrillo Ranch Trust Fund,
and recommended acceptance by the City Council.
4. AB n 0807-4 RECEIPT OF DONATIONS FOR THE 2007 HEALTH AND WELLNESS WEEKENO-
fACTION) - The Commission received donations of cash, products, and services in support of the
2007 Health and Wellness weekend, and recommended acceptance by the City Council.

5. AB # 0807-5 RECEIPT OF DONATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS - EAGLE SCOUT TRAIL
PROJECTS- fACTION) - The Commission accepted a report and voted unanimously (6-0, Pacheco
absent) to receive donations and volunteer work done by two Eagle Scouts on City Trail projects,
and recommended acceptance by the City Council.
6. AB # 0807-6 PROP D CITIZEN'S LIAISON COMMITTEE- (INFO) - The Commission received
information regarding the Prop D Citizen's Liaison Committee and recognized the appointment of
Commissioner Comstock as the Parks & Recreation Commission representative on the Committee.
