SUMMARY REPORT OF THE DECEMBER 7, 2007 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING
CONSENT CALENDAR - The following consent items were unanimously approved 4-0 (Cooper, George, Martyns absent):
1. AB # 1207-1 SUMMARY REPORT - (ACTION) - The Commission accepted and approved the Summary Report of the
November 19, 2007 Parks and Recreation Commission meeting.
DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS
2. AB # 1207-2 ELECTION OF COMMISSION OFFICERS - (ACTION) - By unanimous vote (4-0/Cooper,George,Martyns
absent), Commissioner Sally Lyons was elected as Chairperson and Commissioner Denny Cooper was elected as Vice-
Chairperson of the Parks and Recreation Commission for the 2008 calendar year.
3. AB # 1207-3 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING SCHEDULE- (ACTION)) - Due to the January
and February 2008 Parks and Recreation Commission meetings falling on scheduled City holidays, the Commission
voted unanimously (4-0/Cooper,George,Martyns absent) to hold a single Parks and Recreation Commission meeting
during that time period, on Monday, February 4, 2008.
