RECOMMENDED ACTION :
Receive donation and recommend acceptance by City Council.
ITEM EXPLANATION :
From August 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007, the City has received and deposited a total of
$4,703 in donations for the Carrillo Ranch Fund in part from the following list of donors:
Ms. Esther Spachner
Day Tours/Transportation Charter Services
Barbie Orlando and Glenview Assisted Living
Mr. Michael Dietrich
E. B. Laughery
Mr. Dan Francello and Boy Scout Troop 709
Ms. Juanita Sauage and Vista Friends and Newcomers
Ms. Lisa Tavares
Donations were also generated by proceeds from Movie Nights, private guided tours of the
Ranch led by City staff and docents, from donations received for Joan Kindle's handcrafted gifts,
and from many generous anonymous donors. No single donation was in excess of $500.
Timely letters of appreciation have been sent to all individuals, groups, and organizations making
donations to the Carrillo Ranch Fund.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The donations in the amount of $4,703 were deposited into the Carrillo Ranch Trust account
#149-4504-5651 to be used for purposes related to the development, operation, and
maintenance of Carrillo Ranch.
