AB #0510-1 COMMISSION SUMMARY REPORT -JACTIOM The Commission accepted and approved the Summary Report of the April 19,2010 Parks & Recreation Commission Meeting. DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS 2. AB It 0510-2 DEPARTMENT REPORT -1 ACTION} The Commission accepted and approved a report on recently completed and upcoming Parks & Recreation activities, donations and grants, as well as other topics of local interest. Commissioner Martyns arrived at 5:35 p.m. 3. AB » OS10-3 CITY OPEN SPACE. ACQUISITION. USE. A MANAGEMENT UPDATE - (INFO) The Commission received a presentation from staff on the mechanisms to secure additional open space and trails, active and passive use, preservation and management. 4. AB * 0510-4 STATUS Of COMMUNITY GARDENS WITHIN THE CITY - fINFOl The Commission received a presentation from staff on the current improvements at the Harold E. Smerdu Community Garden as well as future educational opportunities associated with community gardens in general. 5.
