By proper motion, the minutes of the Parks & Recreation Commission regular meeting of June 20, 2011 and
the Parks & Recreation Commission special meeting of August 15, 2011 were approved.
Approved 4-0-1-2 Commissioners Farley and Martyns absent.
Commissioner Rudick Stein abstained.
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. AB # 0911-1 COMMISSION SUMMARY REPORT - (ACTION!
The Commission accepted and approved the Summary Reports of the June 20, 2011
Parks & Recreation Commission regular meeting and the Parks & Recreation Commission special
meeting of August 15, 2011.
Approved 4-0-1-2 Commissioners Farley and Martyns absent.
Commissioner Rudick Stein abstained.
DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS
2- AB # 0911-2 DEPARTMENT REPORT - (ACTION)
The Commission accepted and approved the report on recently completed and upcoming
Parks & Recreation activities, donations, and other topics of local interest.
Approved 5-0-0-2 Commissioners Farley and Martyns absent.
3. AB # 0911-3 APPEAL OF THE DIRECTIVE TO REMOVE THREE STREET TREES IN FRONT
OF THE PROPERTY AT 3110-30 JEFFERSON STREET- (ACTION)
The item was removed from the calendar per direction from the Assistant City Attorney.
4. AB # 0911-4 COMMUNITY ACTIVITY GRANT CITIZEN REVIEW COMMITEE - (ACTION)
The Commission appointed, Matt Simons, as representative to the Community Activity
Grant Citizen Review Committee.
