Loud Exhaust Enforcement
•Decibel Readers being used for loud exhaust
enforcement by Motors.
•Last week of August-11 cites/3 written warnings
•Current law-Loud Exhaust = Motorcycle is over 80
decibels (when manufactured after 1985) and a
vehicle over 95 decibels.

•Traffic Call-out Team responded to El Camino
Real/Cannon
•Intoxicated Driver rear-ended another vehicle with 3
passengers
•Driver arrested for 23153(a)CVC-DUI with injuries,
among other charges

Citizen Generated Traffic Complaints
•8 total “beats” to cover within city w/hundreds of complaints.
While the enforcement of the complaints many times does not
result in citations, these take time because the Motor’s presence
in the area is a deterrent & we value “customer service” to the
residents & overall public safety. One example of beat
area/location complaints that 1 Motor is responsible for:
