April 13, 1959
Present: Commissioners, Zahler, Phillips, Hughes, Allen and Osburn.

Letter was read from J. B. Hannauer & Go,
Letter was read from Adams, Morgan, Latham, Kripp & bright.
Notice of Small Craft Harbors Meeting April 20, 1959 at
Santa Barbara, California.
Memorandum from City Council requesting more information
re: Leasing of Inner Lagoon,
Oral Communications:
None.
Old Business:
Motion by Allen, seconded by Hughes that a Memorandum be sent
to the City Council that they be requested to have the City
Attorney prepare an Ordinance setting up fees on boats using
the Lagoon.
Chairman Osburn appointed Comm. Phillips to serve with him
to meet with the Park and Recreation Commission to study a
location for a swimming area.
Commissioner Hughes moved that ,he Budget be submitted in the
amount of $770.00. Seconded by Zahler, motion carried Allen
voted no,
New Business:
It was moved by Zahler and seconded by Allen that the Comm-
ission meet on the second Monday of each month rather tkan
twice each month. Motion carried.
It '.'/as moved by Zahler, seconded by Hughes that the Bill in
the amount of i^HOO.OO for the Appraisal of the Lagoon
properties by paid.
