CALL TO ORDER: Chairperson Stripe called the Regular Meeting to order at 1:32 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Chairperson Stripe, Board Members Gray, Hughes, Chapin, Canepa (absent), Rauch
(absent)
CONSENT CALENDAR:
(C) Ill. APPROVE MINUTES OF July 7, 2020
Motion by Board Member Hughes, seconded by Board Member Gray, to approve the minutes of the July 7,
2020 meeting as presented. Motion carried 4-0
REPORTS AND DISCUSSION ITEMS:
1. Staff Report:
a. Financial Update — Cheryl Gerhardt
b. CTBID Grant Update
c. CTBID Assessment Modification — Civitas
i. Delegate a subcommittee to create letter to Carlsbad residents — Stripe, Gray
Motion by Board Member Hughes, seconded by Board Member Chapin to have Board Member
Stripe and Board Member Gray to oversee subcommittee for creation of letter to Carlsbad residents.
Motion carried 4-0
2. AB 8-20-195 Adopt Revised 2020-21 Annual Report
Motion by Board Member Hughes, seconded by Board Member Gray to approve modified annual report
with reduction at 30% or 1.2 million. Motion carried 4-0.
