The City Manager informed the Council the Trdic Safety! Committee took this matter under investigation and found: that the visibility at the intersection is sufficient in all : directions of movement. However, they recommended i that a T type sign be installed on the south side of Seacrest Drive. Also it was the opinion of the Committe4 that striping was not necessary. The Police records werk checked as far back as 1960 and no accidents have been ; reported at this intersection. The committee was fortun4te enough to have Mr. Peter Kaltnow, Traffic Engineer for : the Automobile Club of Southern California inspect this i intersection, and it was his opinion that the intersection : in question provided sufficient visibility for drivers.
