This came i about by Mrs. Dindinger wanting to obtain a reclassifica- i : tion of her property. Sometime ago Mrs. Dindinger sold ; ! a portion of her property to Mr. Dinius. In order for her: i to get a zone change she will have to get a lot split. Sinc4 1 she sold the property the city has adopted a Lot Split Or- ; f dinance. ! J A plat of the property in question was presented. The i : Council requested a clarification from the Engineering i i Department. I I i Mr. Thornton stated that Mr. Dinius is in jeopardy with i : the City. The City will not recognize Parcel #2 until a i I lot split has been approved by the Engineering Department, : showing Parcel #2 having proper street frontage. There are two apartment : : houses adjoining his property that have a 5' setback. He i i felt his request was in order and that he was not asking : : for any special privileges. I i The Mayor announced the Council worrld hear from any of i i the appellants if they desired to speak. I I : As there were no persons present desiring to speak, the { i hearing was declared closed at 7:40 P. M. ! I. I The City Planner presented a map of the area, showing i i the existing buildings and setbacks. It was pointed out : I the off-street perking will be in the basement and they i i are proposing 11 units. i Cmn. Jardine inquired as to the possibility of widening i : Normandy Lane. i A study was made by the City Planner and the Engineerin4 i Department, and the City Engineer reported that if 2 11 2 : : feet were dedicated on each side of the street it would be i I possible to have parking on one side of the street or no ; : parking and two lanes of traffic.
