Minutes of the Regular.Meeting held February 3, 1981, were approved as submitted. Minutes of the Adjourned Regular ,Meeting held February 10, 1981, were approved as submitted. 1 'PRESENTATION - CITIZEN OF THE YEAR Mayor Packard indicated that the presentation would be given later in the meeting. CONSENT CALENDAR Mayor Packard indicated he had received a request from Staff to remove Item No. 2 from the Consent Calendar and the agenda P t Absent - Kulchin INVOCATION was given by Mr. Don Brown, Chamber of Commerce. I Mayor Packard opened .the public hearing at 6:21 P.M., and extended the invitation to speak. Council recognized Mr. Bob Ladwig of Rick Engineering, representhg the applicant. Mr. Ladwig expressed agreement with the staff report, and expressed willingness to respond to any questions. Since no one else wished to speak on the matter, Mayor '. Packard closed the public hearing'at 6:22 P.M. I Council directed the City Attorney to prepare'documents Resolution Nos. 1756 and 1757. A brief: staff report was presented by the Planning Director, with the aid of wall exhibits showing the site plan of the project. Mayor Packard opened the public hearing at 6:24 P.M., and extended the invitation to speak. Since no one wished to speak on the matter, Mayor Packard closed the public hearing at 6:24 P.M. Council directed the City Attorney to prepare documents , approving CT 79-7(A)/CP-lO(A) , per Planning Commission Resolution No. 1758. Council also adopted the following Resolution: I RESOLUTION NO. 6444, APPROVING AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR ONE- YEAR FOR TENTATIVE MAP CT 79-7. - 1' [gg] 10. I The staff report was presented by the Planning Director, essentially as contained in.the Statement of the Matter. Mr. Hagaman used wall exhibits to explain the original phase of the proposed project. Mayor Packard opened the public hearing at 6:28 P.M., and extended .the invitation to speak. Since no one wished to speak, Mayor Packard closed the publ2c hearing at 6:28 P-M. Mayor Packard indicated he had not been able to make cQntact with the School Superintendent,. and' requested Councilis permission to continue the appointment until he could do so. Council concurred. Information Item A. Mayor Packard outlined the contents of the memorandum from the Parks and Recreation Director to the City Manager, dated February 10, 1981, regarding Proposition 1 allocation, and queried whether Council desired to take-action on the matter. Assistant City Manager, Frank Mannen, indicated an agenda bill would be prepared and presented to Council at their meeting of February 24, 1981. Information Item B. Mayor Packard briefly explained the letter of February 4, 1981 from the Mayor of the City of Imperial Beach, and it's attached Resolution. ..
