Minutes of: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting) Date of Meeting: December 10, 1991
Time of Meeting: 5:15 p.m. Place of Meeting: City Council Chambers
CAU TO ORDER:
Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 5:15 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Council Members Nygaard, Stanton, Larson, Mayor Pro Tern Kulchin and Mayor Lewis.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned at a Closed Session at 5:16 p.m., to discuss the following:
1. CLOSED SESSION LABOR NEGOTIATIONS.
The status of labor negotiations with the Carlsbad City Employees Association in accordance with Government Code 54956.9(a).
2. CLOSED SESSION PENDING LITIGATION.
Pending litigation City v. MurPhY, Case No. N48064, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a).
3. CLOSED SESSION RE: PUBLIC EMPLOYEES.
Matters relating to the appointment and employment of public employees pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.
Council re-convened at 6:15 p.m., with all Members present, and Mayor Lewis announced that the Council had instructed their negotiators concerning Item #I; instructed the Attorney concerning Item #2; and instructed staff concerning Item #3.
