MINUTES OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting) DATE OF MEETING: January 7, 1992
TIME OF MEETING: 5:30 p.m. PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Council Members Nygaard, Stanton, Larson, Mayor Pro Tem Kulchin and Mayor Lewis.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned to a Closed Session at 5:31 p.m., to discuss the following:
4 1. CLOSED SESSION LABOR NEGOTIATIONS.
The status of labor negotiations with the Carlsbad City Employees Association in accordance with Government Code 54956.9(a).
5 2. CLOSED SESSION ON RECRUITMENT OF CITY ATTORNEY.
Personnel matters relating to the recruitment of a City Attorney.
Council re-convened at 6:02 p.m., with all Members present, and Mayor Lewis announced that the Council had instructed their negotiators concerning Item #1 and instructed the City Manager regarding Item #2.
