MINUTES
MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: December 14, 1992
TIME OF MEETING: 11:OO a.m.
PLACE OF MEETING. Municipal Water District Offices
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 11:OO a.m.
ROLL CALL was taken as follows:
Present: Council Members Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin, Mayor Pro Tem Stanton and
Mayor Lewis.
Absent: None
CLOSED SESSION:
CLOSED SESSION - POTENTIAL ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY.
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8, Council adjourned to a closed session to discuss the
acquisition or potential acquisition of property for a proposed golf course. Sites discussed were as
follows: Lake Calaveras, Kelly Ranch, Carlsbad Raceway, Carltas/Ecke, and the SDG&E Veterans
Memorial Park site.
Council re-convened at 1 :00 p.m., with all Members present, and Mayor Lewis announced that Council
had instructed staff concerning the matter.
