MINUTES
MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: December 15,1992
TIME OF MEETING: 5:OO p.,m. PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 5:05 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Council Members Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin, Mayor Pro Tem Stanton and Mayor
Lewis.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned to a Closed Session at 306 p.m., to discuss the following:
1. CLOSED SESSION - PENDING LITIGATION.
Pending litigation regarding Leoncavallo v. Citv of Carlsbad, Case No. N52908, pursuant
to Government Code Section 54956.9(a).
2. CLOSED SESSION - INITIATION OF LITIGATION.
Initiation of litigation regarding the Split Pavilion, pursuant to Government Code Section
54956.9(c).
3. CLOSED SESSION - EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONS/NEGOTIATIONS.
Discussion of employer-employee relations and negotiations pursuant to Government
Code Section 54957.6.
Council re-convened at 6:37 p.m., with all Members present, and Mayor Lewis announced that Council
had instructed their attorney concerning the matters.
