MINUTES
MEETING'OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: June 15,1993

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 5:03 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Council Members Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin, Mayor Pro Tern Stanton and Mayor
Lewis.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned to a Closed Session at 303 p.m., to discuss the following:
74 1. CLOSED SESSION - EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONS/NEGOTIATIONS.
Discussion of employer-employee relations and negotiations pursuant to Government Code
Section 54957.6.
!I1 2. CLOSED SESSION - INITIATION OF LITIGATION.
Discussion of whether or not to initiate litigation regarding trash, pursuant to Government Code
Section 54956.9(c).
$1 3. CLOSED SESSION - PENDING LITIGATION.
Discussion of pending litigation City of Carlsbad v. Countv of San Dieao, Case No. 641377
(booking fees).
Council re-convened'at 6:05 p.m., with all Members present, and Mayor Lewis announced that Council
had instructed staff on Item #I and their Attorney on Items #2 and #3.
