MINUTES
MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: July 13, 1993
TIME OF MEETING: 500 p.m. PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 300 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Council Members Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin, Mayor Pro Tem Stanton and Mayor
Lewis.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSIONS:
Council adjourned to a Closed Session at 300 p.m., to discuss the following:
361 1. CLOSED SESSION - TO INSTRUCT THE CITY'S NEGOTIATOR REGARDING THE PURCHASE, SALE, EXCHANGE OR LEASE OF IANlKAl LANE MOBILE HOME PARK.
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8, the potential purchase, sale, exchange or lease
of the following real property:
1.) Lanikai Lane Mobile Home Park located at 6550 Ponto Drive, Carlsbad, owned by
Theodore Vallas, Jr., and subject to a lease with South Shores Development Corporation.
661 ' 2- CLOSED SESSION - PENDING LITIGATION.
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b)(l), pending litigation regarding mobile home
rent stabilization.
Council re-convened at 6111 p.m., with all Members present, and Mayor Lewis announced that Council
had instructed staff and their Attorney.
