CALLTO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 301 p.m.

ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Council Members Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin, Mayor Pro Tern Stanton and Mayor
Lewis.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
1. CLOSED SESSION PROPERTY ACQUISITION.
Council adjourned to a Closed Session to discuss the acquisition or potential acquisition of the
following real property for the proposed Carlsbad Municipal Golf Course: 1 .) Chevron/Huntington
Beach property at Palomar Airport Road and College Boulevard; and 2.) Koll Phase 111 property
at Palomar Airport Road and College Boulevard, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8.
Council re-convened at 351 p.m., with all Members present and Mayor Lewis announced that
Council had heard the information and instructed staff.
