MEmNG OF: CrrY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: December 6,1994
TIME OF MEETING: 530 p.m. PLACE OF MEETING: Ci Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 5:31 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Council Members Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin, Mayor Pro Tem Stanton and Mayor
Lewis.
Absent: None.
37 1. SPECIAL RECOGNITION AND APPRECIATION CEREMONY.
Council held a Special Recognition and Appreciation Ceremony to honor the outgoing Mayor Pro
Tem Margaret Stanton, with comments from Mayor Lewis and Council Members Kulchin, Nygaard
and Finnila.
Mayor Lewis presented a Proclamation and Plaque to Mayor Pro Tem Stanton. Representatives
from the offices of City, County and State leaders presented awards to Mayor Pro Tem Stanton,
as follows:
Supervisor John MacDonald; Don Polese, representing Congressman Packard; Tom Cleary,
representing Congressman Cunningham; Carol Cox, representing Senator Craven; Melinda
Morrin, representing Assemblyman Frazee; Lee LaFave, representing Supervisor Slater; and Phil
Urbina and Lee Bohlmann, representing the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.
The program concluded with comments from Mayor Pro Tem Stanton.
Council adjourned the Special Meeting at 6:02 p.m.
