MINUTES
MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: December 19, 1995
TIME OF MEETING: 5:OO p.m. PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 5:Ol p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Assistant City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Council Members Hall, Finnila, Kulchin and Mayor Lewis.
Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Nygaard.
CLOSED SESSION.
74 1. CLOSED SESSION - EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONS AND NEGOTIATIONS.
Council held a Closed Session pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6 to discuss
employer-employee relations, salaries, salary schedules and compensation with designated staff
as labor negotiators, with respect to negotiations with the CCEA, CPOA, Police Management
Association employee organizations and unrepresented employees.
Council re-convened at 557 p.m., with four Members present and Mayor Pro Tem Nygaard
absent, and Mayor Lewis announced that Council had heard the information and instructed staff
and the Attorney regarding these matters.
