MINUTES
MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: April 2, 1996
TIME OF MEETING: 5:30 p.m. PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 530 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Council Members Hall, Finnila, Kulchin, Mayor Pro Tem Nygaard and Mayor
Lewis.
Absent: None.
Council adjourned to a Closed Session at 530 p.m., to discuss the following:
CLOSED SESSION:
41 1. CLOSED SESSION - PENDING LITIGATION.
Council held a Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a), to discuss
pending litigation, Coast Waste Management v. Countv, Case No. 94-1 823-S(BTM), Citv v. County,
Case No. N66415, and Ten Cities v. County, Case No. 94-1525-IEG(POR).
Council re-convened at 555 p.m., with all five Members present, and Mayor Lewis announced that
Council had heard the information and instructed staff and the Attorneys regarding these matters.
