MINUTES
MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: April 9, 1996

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 315 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Council Members Hall, Finnila, Kulchin, Mayor Pro Tem Nygaard and Mayor
Lewis.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned to a Closed Session at 315 p.m., to discuss the following:
41 1. CLOSED SESSION - PENDING LITIGATION.
Council held a Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a), to discuss the
Demarv v. Citv of Carlsbad, Workers Compensation Appeals Board pending litigation.
Council re-convened at 554 p.m., with all five Members present, and Mayor Lewis announced that
Council had heard the information and instructed staff and the Attorneys regarding this matter.
