MINUTES
MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: September 17, 1996
TIME OF MEETING: 5:30 p.m. PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Council Members Hall, Finnila, Kulchin, Mayor Pro Tern Nygaard
and Mayor Lewis.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
74 1. CLOSED SESSION - EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONS AND
NEGOTIATIONS.
Council held a Closed Session pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6,
to discuss employer-employee relations, salaries, salary schedules and
compensation with designated staff as labor negotiators with respect to the
negotiations with the CCEA, CPOA, Police Management Association Employee
Organizations and unrepresented employees.
Council re-convened at 6:02 p.m., with all five Members present and Mayor
Lewis announced that Council had heard the information and instructed staff
regarding these matters.
