MINUTES
MEETING OF : CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: July 21,1998
TIME OF MEETING: 530 p.m. PLACE OF MEETING: Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Council Members Hall, Kulchin, Nygaard, Mayor Pro Tem Finnila, Mayor Lewis
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned to Closed Session at 5:30 p.m., to discuss the following:
1. THREATENED PENDING LITIGATION.
The Ramos v. Citv of Carlsbad, threatened pending litigation, WCAB Case No. SDP 228712 and claims,
pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a).
Council reconvened at 550 p.m. with all Council Members present. Mayor Lewis announced that Council had
heard the information, and instructed staff and the Attorney regarding the item.
