CALL TO ORDER: Mayor/ President Lewis called the Meeting to order at 6:21 p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
ACTION: On motion by Mayor Pro TemNice-Chair Finnila, the Minutes of the following meetings
were approved as presented:

CONSENT CALENDAR:
ACTION: On motion by Mayor Pro TemNice-Chair Finnila, the Council and Board affirmed the
action of the Consent Calendar, Item #9, as follows:

WAIVER OF ORDINANCE TEXT READING:
The CoucilA3oard waived the reading of the text of all ordinances and resolutions at this meeting.
9. AB #14,779 - APPROVING ADDITION OF PIPELMES BY ADDENDUM TO THE CANNON ROAD
c WEST REACH 1 PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, CMWD PROJECT NOS. 88-602 AND 92-406,
CONTRACT NOS. 35341 AND 35831.
The Board adopted RESOLUTION NO. 1022, repealing Resolution No. 1019 dated June 23, 1998, and
approved the plans and specifications and authorizing the combination of 16-inch water and 24-inch water
transmission mains with Cannon Road West Reach 1 Plans and Specifications.
Council adopted RESOLUTION NO. 98-247, repealing Resolution No. 98-208 dated June 23, 1998, and
approved the plans and specifications and authorizing the combination of 8-inch and 12-inch collector
sewers to Cannon Road West Reach 1 Plans and Specifications.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Joint Special Meeting of July 21, 1998, was adjourned at 6:23 p.m.
