MEETING OF : CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)

PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
A special meeting was called at the above-stated time and place in the event a majority of Council Members were
in attendance at the Northeast Quadrant Community Forum where staff presentations were to be given on the
following topics:
37 1. School District Update
2. Community Development Update
3. Public Works 4. Law Enforcement
5. Parks Update 6. Growth Management Update
Presentations were made regarding the School District Update (Item No. l), and the Community Development
Update (Item No. 2). Due to the number of questions from the public regarding development issues, the Agenda
was modified to delete Items No. 4 and 5 (Law Enforcement and Parks). The presentations regarding Public
Works and Growth Management (Item Nos. 3 and 6) were then given.
Following the presentations, staff responded to questions from the public regarding development issues, including
traffic generation, the commercial project proposed for the intersection of El Camino Real and Tamarack Avenue,
called Tamarack Square, and the construction of Cannon/College.
