MINUTES
MEETING OF : CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: June 15,1999

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 5:02 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Absent: Mayor Lewis, Mayor Pro Tern Hall, Council Members Fimrila, Nygaard Council Member Kulchin.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS:
None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned to Closed Session at 5:02 p.m., to discuss the following:
41 2. CLOSED SESSION - PENDING LITIGATION.
Citv vs. Carlsbad Promenade, Case No. NO78509, pending litigation, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9 (a).
Citing potential conflict of interest on item #l, Mayor Pro Tern Hall, left the meeting at 5:30 p.m.
81 1. ACOUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY.
The acquisition or potential acquisition of real property located at 3333 Harding Street, and generally
identified as the Pine School, owned by the Carlsbad Unified School District, approximately 7.2 acres,
APN: 204-100-05, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8.
Council reconvened at 6:04 p.m. with four members present and Council Member Kulchin absent. Mayor Lewis
announced that Council had heard the information and instructed staff and the Attorney regarding the items.
