JOINT MEETING OF : THE CITY OF CARLSBAD CITY COUNCIL AND THE CARLSBAD

MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT (Special Meeting)
CALL TO ORDER: Mayorpresident Lewis called the Meeting to order at 7:40 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Council/Board Members Lewis, Hall, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin
Absent: None
CONSENT CALENDAR:
ACTION: On motion by Mayor Pro TemNice-President Hall, the Council/Board
unanimously affirmed the action of the Consent Calendar as follows:
AYES: Lewis, Hall, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin
NOES: None
WAIVER OF ORDINANCE TEXT READING:
The Council/Board waived the reading of the text of all ordinances and resolutions at this meeting.
14. AB #15.299 - AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR FARADAY AVENUE
IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT NO. 3593 AND CMWD PROJECT NO. 98-107.
Council adopted City Council RESOLUTION NO. 99-245, approving plans and specifications,
and authorizing the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the construction of Faraday Avenue
Improvements, authorizing a loan and appropriating funds; and,
The Board adopted Municipal Water District RESOLUTION NO. 1059, approving plans and
specifications, and authorizing the Secretary to advertise for bids for the construction of an 8”
water main and a 12” recycled water main, and appropriating funds.
ADJOURNMENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO CONTINUATION OF THE CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT MEETING.
By proper motion, the Joint Special Meeting of July 6, 1999, was adjourned at 7:42 p.m.
