CALL TO ORDER: Mayor/President Lewis called the Joint Special Meeting to order at
855 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Council/Board Members Lewis, Hall, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin.
Absent: None.

19. AB #I 5,768 - 2000-01 OPERATING BUDGET WORKSHOP.
The highlights of the 2000-2001 Operating Budget were presented by Lisa Hildabrand,
Director of Finance; Cheryl Gerhardt, Senior Accountant; Frank Mannen, Assistant City
Manager; Dennis Van der Maaten, Fire Chief; Lloyd Hubbs, Director of Public Works;
and, Bob Vales, Police Chief. Ms. Hildabrand noted that staff is recommending the
public hearing be scheduled for June 27rh instead of June 20th.
ACTION: On a motion by Mayor Pro Tern/Vice President Hall, Council/Board set
the 2000-01 Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program
Public Hearing for June 27, 2000; and, adopted Municipal Water
District RESOLUTION NO. 1092, approving an appropriation of $2
million in the water operations fund for 1999-00 water purchases.
AYES: Lewis, Hall, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin.
NOES: None.
By proper motion, the Joint Special Meeting of June 6, 2000, was adjourned at IO:05
p.m.
