CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Special Meeting to order at 4:30 p.m
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:

Mayor Lewis, Mayor Pro Tern Hall, Council Member Nygaard.
Council Members Finnila and Kulchin.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS: None
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned to Closed Session at 4:30 p.m., to discuss the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.8 - To discuss with and instruct the
City’s negotiators (Community Development Director Marty Orenyak and
Planning Director Michael Holzmiller) regarding price, terms of payment or both,
on the acquisition or potential acquisition of real property located east of
Interstate 5, north of Cannon Road and south of Agua Hedionda Lagoon, more
specifically known as:
Parcel 8 - APN 21 l-01 O-24 (49.84 acres)
Parcel 10 - APN 21 I-010-26 (371.65 acres)
Parcel 11 - APN 21 I-010-28 (19.99 acres)
Property Owner: San Diego Gas & Electric
Approximately 441.48 total acres

COUNCIL ACTION:
Council reconvened at 5:55 p.m. with all Council Members present. Mayor Lewis
announced that Council had heard the information and instructed staff and the Attorney
regarding the item.
