CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Special Meeting to order at 500 p.m.
ROLL CALL: The following Council Members were present:

Lewis, Hall, Finnila, Nygaard and Kulchin.
None.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council recessed into Closed Session at 500 p.m. to consider the following:

1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.8 - To instruct the City’s negotiators
(Community Development Director Marty Orenyak and Economic Development
Manager Cynthia Haas) regarding price, terms of payment or both for the acquisition
or potential acquisition of real property generally located and generally identified as:
The James W. Carey Estate Property; APN 156-164-20; 2923 Elmwood Street; and The
John H. and Violet M. Diab Family Trust Property; APN 204-093-04 and 204-093-05; 3354
Madison and 3366 Madison.
Council reconvened at 5:45 p.m. with all Council Members present. Mayor Lewis
announced that Council had heard the information and instructed staff and the attorney
regarding the item.
