MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: February 13,200l

PLACE OF MEETING: Closed Session Room
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 500 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present:
Absent:
Lewis, Kulchin, Finnila, Nygaard and Hall.
None.
Council recessed into Closed Session at 500 p.m. pursuant to the following:

1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54957.6 - To discuss employer-employee
relations, salaries, salary schedules, and compensation in the form of fringe
benefits with designated staff as labor negotiators (Frank Mannen, Assistant City
Manager; Julie Clark, Acting Human Resources Director; Deborah Porter,
Management Analyst, Cindie McMahon, Deputy City Attorney; and, Richard S.
Whitmore, Esq.) with respect to the negotiations with the CPOA, CFA, CCEA,
Police Management Association employee organizations and unrepresented
employees.
Council reconvened at 555 p.m. with all Council Members present. Mayor Lewis
announced that Council had heard the information and instructed staff and the attorney
regarding the item.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of February 13, 2001 was adjourned at 5:55
p.m.
