MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Special Meeting to order at 4:53 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Finnila, Nygaard and Hall.
Absent: None.
Council recessed into Closed Session at 4:53 p.m. pursuant to the following:

GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(a) - To discuss settlement of City v.
Bohn. et al., Case No. GIN010578.
GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.8 - To instruct the City’s negotiators
(Assistant City Manager Frank Manner-r, Bob Hilton, Administrative Manager Clint
Phillips, Management Analyst Julie Ross) regarding price and terms of payment,
or potential acquisition of real property known as “the Palomar Transfer Station”
and a portion of “the Carlsbad Raceway” and more specifically known as:
Lease of Palomar Transfer Station

Lessee: Allied Waste
Negotiators: Jim Ambroso and Bud Chase

ITEM NO. 2 : Mayor Lewis announced that Council had heard the information and
instructed staff and the attorney regarding the item.
ADJOURNMENT
