MEETING OF : CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: APRIL 2,2002
TIME OF MEETING: 5:OO p.m. PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Special Meeting to order at 500 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Finnila, and Hall.
Absent: Nygaard.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS: None
CLOSED SESSION:
Council recessed into Closed Session at 500 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(a) - Stegehuis and Donnally v. City
of Carlsbad, Case No. GIN011290.
2. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(a) - Schahn v. City of Carlsbad,
Case No. GIN006452.
Council reconvened at 6:OO p.m. with the Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem Kulchin and Council
Members Finnila and Hall present. Council Member Nygaard was absent. Mayor Lewis
announced that Council had heard the information and instructed staff and the attorney
regarding the items.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of April 2,2002, was adjourned at 553 p.m.
