MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Special Meeting to order at 4:OO p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Finnila, Nygaard and Hall.
Absent: None.
PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
CITIZENS OF THE YEAR
Mayor Lewis introduced the committee who made the selections for the 2001 Citizens of the
Year. Mayor Lewis announced that Sally Lyons and Bob Beard are the 2001 Carlsbad
Citizens of the Year. Mayor Lewis presented Ms. Lyons and Mr. Beard with a plaque in
recognition of their achievement.
ADJOURNMENT.
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of October 22, 2002 was adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
