MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: November 5,2002

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Special Meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Finnila, Nygaard and Hall.
Absent: None.
PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council recessed into Closed Session at 4:30 p.m. to consider the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(a) - (existing litigation) - To
discuss Hatcher v. City of Oceanside; Oceanside City Council: City of San
Marcos: San Marcos City Council; City of Vista; Vista City Council: City of
Encinitas; Encinitas Citv Council: City of Carlsbad; Carlsbad City Council; County
of San Dieao; San Dieao County Board of Supervisors, et al, Case No.
GIC782067.
2. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(a) - (existing litigation) -To
discuss Rincon Del Diablo Municipal Water District, et a/. v. San Dieao Countv
Water Authority, et a/., Case No. GIC798230.
Council reconvened at 550 p.m. with all members present. Mayor Lewis announced
that Council had heard the information and instructed staff and the attorney regarding
the items.
ADJOURNMENT.
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of November 5, 2002 was adjourned at 555
p.m.
