MEETING OF : CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: NOVEMBER 19,2002
TIME OF MEETING: 4:30 p.m. PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Special Meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Finnila, Nygaard and Hall.
Absent: None.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council recessed into Closed Session at 4:30 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(a) - (existing litigation) - To discuss
AT&T Wireless Service v. Citv of Carlsbad, Case No. 01 CV 2045 JM (JFS).
2. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.91a) - (existina litigation) - To discuss
Building Industry Association of San Diego, et a/. v. State Water Resources Control
Board, et a/, Case No. 780263.
Council reconvened at 5:45 p.m. with all Council Members present. Mayor Lewis
announced that Council had heard the information and instructed staff and the attorney
regarding the items.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of November 19, 200 was adjourned at 545 p.m.
