MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: FEBRUARY 4,2003
TIME OF MEETING: 515 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Special Meeting to order at 5: 15 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall and Packard.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council recessed into Closed Session at 515 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.8 - To instruct the City’s negotiators
(Community Development Director Sandra Holder and Economic Development
Manager Cynthia Haas) regarding price, terms of payment or both for the
acquisition or potential acquisition of real property generally located and
generally identified as:
Property owned by Henry and Alex Reza
3396 Madison Street, Carlsbad, CA
Negotiator: Henry and Alex Reza
APN 204-093-08
If circumstances necessitate the absence of a specified designated
representative, an agent or designee may participate in place of the absent
representative so long as the name of the agent or designee is announced at an
open session held prior to the closed session.
Council reconvened at 555 p.m. with all members present. Mayor Lewis announced
that Council had heard the information and instructed staff and the attorney regarding
the item.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of February 4, 2003 was adjourned at 5:55 P.m.
