CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall and Packard.
Absent: None.
PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council recessed into Closed Session at 4:30 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(b)(I) - To discuss significant
exposure to litigation regarding the timing of the College Boulevard acceptance.
2. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(b)(1) - To discuss significant
exposure to litigation regarding the agreement with Innovative Technologies, Ltd.
3. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(a) - To discuss AT&T Wireless
Service v. City of Carlsbad, Case No. 01 CV 2045 JM (JFS).
Council reconvened at 555 p.m. with all members present. Mayor Lewis announced
that Council had heard the information and instructed staff and the attorney regarding
the item.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting was adjourned at 555 p.m.
