CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Special Meeting to order at 5:OO p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present:
Absent: Finnila.
Lewis, Kulchin, Hall and Packard.
PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council recessed into Closed Session at 5:OO p.m. to consider the following:

GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.8 - To discuss the lease of real
property and instruct the City’s negotiators (Administrative Services
Director Jim Elliott and Economic Development Manager Cynthia Haas)
regarding both price and terms of payment regarding the following:
Property Owner: City of Carlsbad
Location: 2075 Las Palmas Drive
Negotiator: Symbigene, by Lars Eisenhauer and Roger Carlson of
Coldwell Banker Commercial
If circumstances necessitate the absence of a specified designated
representative, an agent or designee may participate in place of the absent
representative so long as the name of the agent or designee is announced
at an open session held prior to the closed session.

Council reconvened at 555 p.m. with all members present. Mayor Lewis announced
that Council had heard the information and instructed staff and the attorney regarding
the items.
ADJOURNMENT.
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of June 24, 2003 was adjourned at 555 p.m.
