6'h Citizens Academy Opening (Special Meeting)
September 1 I, 2003
The sixth class of the Citizens Academy began at 500 p.m. with an outdoor dinner.
The meeting was held in Council Chambers at 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive. Mayor
Lewis, Mayor Pro Tem Finnila, Council Members Hall and Kulchin arrived prior to 530
p.m. Council Member Packard was not able to attend the opening meeting.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS: None.
City Manager Ray Patchett introduced the Council Members. Each member welcomed
the new class and discussed their Council responsibilities.
By 6:30 p.m. Council Members Finnila, Lewis and Kulchin had departed. Council
Member Hall left at the meeting's adjournment.
ADJOURNMENT:
The Special Meeting of September 11, 2003, was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
