CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 5:OO p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Assistant City Clerk, as follows:
Present:
Absent: None.
Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall, Packard.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 500 p.m. pursuant to the following:
GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.8 - To discuss the lease of real property and
instruct the City’s negotiators (Jim Elliott, Administrative Services Director and Cynthia
Haas, Economic Development Manager) regarding both price and terms of payment
regarding the following:
Property Owner: City of Carlsbad
Address:
Negotiator:
2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad
Deanna Dubs and Ken Dubs for Cygnus
Mulitimedia Communications, Inc.
The Council reconvened at 550 p.m. with all members present. Mayor Lewis
announced that the Council heard the information and instructed staff regarding the
item.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of October 5, 2004, was adjourned at 551 p.m.
